For the Love of Golf

It's February, which means Valentines Day.  It is also starting to warm up, which means us golfers are itching to get back on the course in this beautiful weather.  What better way to show the golfer in your life that you love them than with a sweet golf gift to get them back on the links.  But you can't just get your golfer a box of balls, they deserve more love than that, so I have found several great ideas for the perfect Valentine for any golfer.

The first is an adorable personalized golf ball.  I found this one on personalizationmall.com, but there are many sites and companies out there that personalize golf balls.  Other personalized ideas include 'PARfect Valentine' or 'You DRIVE me wild,' it is a little cheesy but so cute and sure to make your golfer happy.  To check out more of these loving golf balls and to order yours click here.
Of course you can always add a more personal touch by actually doing the personalizing yourself...and save a few bucks!  These are just as cute and probably more fun, specially if you are the crafty type.  I used to do this for my dad growing up before he left for the course, and it is a great gift for any golfer.

I am in love with these personalized ball markers!  These are hand made and sold on Etsy, and there are so many cute ideas to choose from, they can even be made into necklaces!  This one to the left could be particularly encouraging for your golfer as they get a chance for birdie.  This would also make a great gift for any holiday!
Now I love chocolate just as much as the next girl, but if I were to open a heart box filled with new golf balls instead of chocolates, I might fall in love right then and there.  It is so simple, but completely adorable and thoughtful!  As an added bonus you can keep the chocolates for yourself!  For more pictures of this amazing idea check out this blog post.
This necklace is something I have had my eye on for a long time, and gentlemen, this is the perfect gift for any lady who loves the game.  You can purchase this necklace for $21.00 on Etsy (along with other sports themed necklaces.)

Weather you are celebrating Valentines Day or Singles Awareness Day, I hope you all have a lovely February 14th, and if its starting to warm up where you live, get back out on the course and celebrate the Love of Golf.

My Passion for Golf

Welcome to my blog!  My name is Kelsie and I am currently a senior strategic communications major at Southern Utah University.  I am 22 years old and having the time of my life at college!  The most important thing for you to know about me is my complete and adoring passion for golf.

Find this cute board on Etsy here.
I grew up going to the course with my dad after he would finish playing with the men's club.  Golf is in my blood.  I started to get really into the sport for myself when I was a junior in high school and played varsity for the Lehi High School Girls Golf Team.  I have been playing for 6 years now, and just wish I could go back and start sooner!

Golf is a very unique sport that requires you and pushes you to have integrity, be honest, and independent.  That is the biggest pull that golf has on me.  I am and always have been very independent, and this self-refereeing sport is made for me.  I have had coaches, family, and friends that have helped me significantly improve my game, but when practice is over and I'm on the course, I have to rely on myself to go low, to make those tough shots, or sink a two-footer for par, and that excites me.

Golf will always be apart of my life, and I am excited to share my passion with you!
